No I am serious because this is fucking internets spaceships and it is the most serious fucking business that can ever be conducted. Amarr ships look like they were beat out of sheet metal, they certainly have the sweeping forms and bold design you might find in art deco, but they lack the love of fine machining, finish and texture you would see in an art deco metalwork. There’s decoration on the ships, but it’s half-assed at best. When art deco had detail, it was lavish and painstaking. Also, art deco was an art movement from the 1920s. 1970s art deco furniture is quite literally antithetical. You want an art deco ship? Look at the rokh. Bold lines, a machine-extruded form, stepped design and a strong sense of pattern in the decoration. Sure, the finish could be a bit better, but that’s about as close as you’ll get tl;dr: Design fagging ITT
